The Age newspaper in Melbourne, in the business section, has published several articles by people who claim that human activity is not changing the climate. These articles were published in July 2008 to coincide with the release of the Australian government green paper on emissions trading and a precursor report by an economist, Garnaut. I wrote a letter to the business editor on 20 July 2008 and it was published on 30 July. The fourth paragraph was omitted, no doubt due to lack of space. Here is the full text.
